President’s Report

A copy of the report as to the activities of ECHRI over the 12 months to 30 June 2024 is below.

Ordinary Resolutions

The resolutions were passed, are as follows:

(a)     to confirm the minutes of the previous annual general meeting held on 30 November 2023 (to follow soon); 

(b)    to receive and consider—

(i)    the annual report of the Committee on the activities of the Association during the preceding financial year (refer the Presidents report) ; and

(ii)   the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year submitted by the Committee in accordance with Part 7 of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012;

(iii)   the Policy and Procedure Statement which the Committee has drawn up to provide a framework for the involvement of ECHRI in local planning and development issues.

The chairperson of the meeting will declare all positions on the Committee vacant pursuant to Rule 50(2) of the ECHRI Rules and hold elections for those positions.

(d)    confirm the annual membership fee of $10 running from the start of the financial year.
